Panasonic has raised the curtain on its full 2025 TV lineup, which includes several OLEDs and some LED models, a mini-LED TV among them. OLEDs include the flagship Panasonic Z95B with new ThermalFlow system. Gaining attention as a contender for “TV of the year,” the model makes its debut in the 77-inch category and also comes in 55- and 65-inch versions. Other OLEDs include the midrange Panasonic Z90B and entry-level Panasonic Z80B. The LED roster features the Panasonic W95B, the premium-packed Panasonic W85B, a QLED model dubbed W80A, and at entry-level the Panasonic W61A 4K.
Home Theater Review calls the OLED Z95B “a potential game-changer,” enthusing over its “next-gen Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel, which stacks multiple light-emitting layers to boost brightness and color without adding bulk or sacrificing accuracy.” Panasonic claims the technology adds 40 percent more efficiency than standard OLED, “a big deal for anyone who watches TV in a brighter room,” says Home Theater Review.
The Z95B introduces a new ThermalFlow system, inspired by race car design. It rearranges vents and internal parts to manage heat more efficiently, helping prevent burn-in and improve long-term performance. Powering all of this is the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II, which has a 60Hz refresh mode and now includes a 4K Remaster Engine to clean up streaming content
“Most of Panasonic’s new TVs will use the Fire TV smart TV platform, except for the entry-level models, which will use TiVo,” TechRadar writes, adding that “the Panasonic Z95B and Z90B OLEDs and the W95B mini-LED will support a new Prime Video Calibrated Mode, which was first introduced in Sony’s 2024 TVs and also appeared in last year’s Panasonic Z95A.”
Another new feature that caught TechRadar’s eye is “Calman Ready, which allows users to easily calibrate their screens using Calman’s new AutoCal feature (set to arrive in a software update to the Calman Color Calibration software during the Summer),” in the Panasonic Z95B and W95B TVs.
In a separate article, TechRadar highlights the Z95B (with “extra vivid punch”), “step-down OLED model” 790B (especially in the smaller, 44-48-inch sizes) and W95B mini-LED as “models you should get excited for.”
Panasonic touted the Z95B along with its mini-LED brandmate the W95B at CES 2025 in January. Introduced this month at Panasonic’s European headquarters in Weisbaden, Germany, “are new mid-range OLED and LCD TVs joining the two flagship models,” says What Hi-Fi.
While prices and delivery dates have yet to be fully detailed, this latest announcement presents a more complete picture of what the Japanese manufacturer will bring to market this year.
