Now that the CES dust has settled on Las Vegas — analysts, journalists and tech bloggers can’t seem to say enough about the Razer Blade Stealth Ultrabook, which is generating an impressive number of awards from “Best PC” and “Best of CES” to “People’s Choice Award.” Engadget, Mashable, TechRadar and SlashGear are just a few of the numerous publications that are praising the $999 Razer Blade Stealth. The gaming laptop runs Windows 10 and touts a 12.5-inch multi-touch display with IGZO 16:9 aspect ratio. The Razer Core, an external graphics docking station, is also on its way. Sharp Takes Display Technology to New Levels with Prototypes

Sharp, which became the first to bring IGZO display technology to the mass market in 2013, is showcasing a number of eye-popping display prototypes that may find their way into devices in the next 12 months. Among them, a MEMS display and “narrow border” screens that will further slim down phones, notebooks and tablets. For example, the Ultra High Resolution “Quad Full HD,” or QFHD LCD screen, offers a 15.6-inch 3840×2160 pixel display, four times that of normal HD. CES 2013: Sharp Rolls Out IGZO Ultra HD Pro Monitors

Energy efficiency, sharper HD imagery and increased screen-touch sensitivity. Who wouldn’t want all that? Sharp is betting that everyone does. The company is showcasing tablets, TVs and smartphones that use Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) technology. Early products include two 32-inch professional class LCD monitors – the PN-K321, which debuts in February, and a prototype model with 10-point touchscreen capability.
