ETC’s Synthetic Media Summit Scheduled for June 8 at USC

Artificial intelligence promises to change the way media content is produced, distributed and consumed. It even alters the nature of media itself. None of us, inside or outside of the media industry, is fully ready for what AI is about to bring about. So, to chart the course of this AI-driven future, the Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California is organizing its inaugural Synthetic Media Summit on June 8 on the USC campus. This high-level event will gather the world’s top AI experts and media executives to discuss the state, media use cases, and ethics of synthetic media for the news and entertainment industries.

This is a collaboration co-hosted by USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, in partnership with SMPTE and NAB Amplify.

In-person seating is limited, and remote attendance is available at a reduced cost. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite, for $175 and $50, respectively (plus tax).
