AMC Launches ‘All Reality’ Streamer with Unscripted Content

AMC Networks launched a new streaming service called All Reality yesterday, featuring 2,500 hours of reality television from We TV and other AMC brands. The service is initially being offered as an add-on to Prime Video for $4.99 per month. Available series include “Love After Lockup,” “The Braxtons,” and “The Graham Norton Show,” while an updated version of “Bridezillas” will be the first original series. According to AMC, additional content will be introduced and the service will join more platforms in the near future. All Reality joins AMC’s other targeted streamers including AMC+ (scripted dramas), Acorn TV (international mysteries), Shudder (horror) and HIDIVE (anime).

“AMC Networks has produced some of the most compelling stories on television — from our award-winning original dramas to popular, long-running reality franchises with characters and plot twists that rival even the most dramatic scripted fare,” said Courtney Thomasma, EVP of linear and streaming products. “As the home of the world’s largest collection of targeted streaming services, we are thrilled to bring reality TV viewers the programming they love most, available for the first time on a single streaming platform in the U.S.”

According to the press release, programming includes “reality favorites and new installments of popular franchises, with new episodes premiering every week.” Highlights:

  • The entire “Love After Lockup” franchise — all spin-offs, all episodes.
  • The exclusive streaming home for new episodes of popular reality favorites like “Bridezillas” and “Mama June.”
  • Over 1,000 hours of bingeable reality television you can’t find on any other SVOD service, including every season of “Growing Up Hip Hop” and “Marriage Boot Camp” available on U.S. SVOD for the very first time.
  • New episodes of celebrity-driven formats from docu-soaps like “The Braxtons” to late-night talk standout “The Graham Norton Show,” featuring unrivaled star-studded guest lineups every week.
  • Compelling true crime including topical limited series and returning anthologies like “True Crime Story: It Couldn’t Happen Here,” hosted by Hilarie Burton Morgan, and more.

“The new service fits with the company’s emphasis on specialty streaming,” reports Deadline, after speaking with Thomasma. “Already, the company has 10.4 million subscribers to AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE. Streaming revenue will soon overtake revenue from the company’s linear stable of AMC, IFC, We TV and other cable networks, the company has projected.”
