The Entertainment Merchants Association will hold its Digital Media Pipeline on October 8 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Celebrating its sixth year, Digital Media Pipeline is a one-day B2B event that brings together thought leaders to discuss digital delivery of home entertainment. ETC’s Phil Lelyveld will be a featured speaker as part of a next-gen technology panel. ETC community members are invited to attend the conference at the discounted EMA member price of $295.

The day’s topics will include the global growth of digital entertainment, making digital a premium experience, the vast expansion of digital content, and a panel of consumers talking about how they view digital content.

Panelists will include execs from companies such as Intel, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Panasonic, Sony, Vimeo and others. The day will kick off with a keynote conversation with Mitch Singer, president of the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem, and former chief digital strategy officer of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

ETC’s Lelyveld will serve as a panelist for “The Next Generation(s),” which according to the Digital Media Pipeline site will address the following: “What innovations are on the long and short term horizon for technology and media? How will the declining cost of storage and increasing processing and communication speeds affect the supply chain and the consumer? And how will viewing change over the next 50 years as consumers face 3D, 4K, 8K, virtual reality, and more.”

EMA has extended its discounted member price of $295 (a savings of $100) to all ETC members. For more info about the event and to register, visit the event page (enter Registration Code 900 for the EMA member discount).
